JC: Poetry Night with Michelle Greco, Kim Farrar, and Kathleen Kraft

This event takes place at our Jersey City location.

Local poets Michelle Greco (Field Guide to Fire), Kim Farrar (The Brief Clear), and Kathleen Kraft (Fairview Road) join us for a joint reading of recent work.

  • Michelle Greco is a poet who both lives and teaches in New Jersey. She holds an MFA from Drew University. Her poems have appeared in Painted Bride QuarterlyThe Stillwater Review, Edison Literary Review, and the anthology Dear Sister, among others. Her chapbook, Field Guide to Fire, came out from in March 2015. When not writing, Michelle enjoys blogging, photography, and red dresses. 

  • Kathleen Kraft is a poet and a yoga teacher. Her poems have appeared in Five Points, Gargoyle, The Madison Review, and other journals, and two have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize. She lives in Jersey City, where she leads yoga and writing workshops and writes regularly for YogaCityNYC.

  • Kim Farrar is a poet and essayist. Her recent publications include Alaska Quarterly Review, Chicago Quarterly Review, and Rhino. Her chapbook, The Familiar, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2011. Her essays have appeared in Illness and Grace, Voices Of Autism, and Reflections: Narratives of Professional Helping. She was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2012 and 2015.
