JC: Cross Poetry Reading Series

01/04/2015 - 5:30pm

This event will take place at our Jersey City location.

New Jersey and New York poets unite for the first edition of the Cross Poetry Series. Join us every other month as budding and established poets from the area share their works with us.

Gregory Crosby is the author of the poetry chapterbook Spooky Action at a Distance (2014, The Operating System); his work has appeared in Court Green, Epiphany, Sink Review, Rattle, and Copper Nickel, among other journals.

Michelle Greco is a poet who both lives and teaches in New Jersey. She holds an MFA from Drew University. Her poems have appeared in Painted Bride Quarterly, The Stillwater Review, Edison Literary Review, and the anthology Dear Sister, among others. When not writing or teaching, Michelle enjoys blogging, photography, and red dresses.

Jill Kapinus is from northern New Jersey and completed her BA at Sarah Lawrence College. She is currently in the process of applying to MFA poetry programs and hopes to teach creative writing in the future.

Suzanne Lunden has placed poems in a few small magazines, and was runner-up for the 46er Prize from The Adirondack Review. She received a BA from the University of Vermont and an MFA from Hunter College, and lives in Brooklyn.

Facebook RSVP encouraged, but not required.
