    Greenpoint Comedy Night returns to the WORD bookstore! This month's show features beer from Brooklyn Brewery and headlining comedian Adam Newman (seen on Comedy Central and The Late Show with David Letterman). Admission is $6 and includes two beers. Audrey Murray hosts Garrett Barnes, Max Haddad, Sam Bourne, Ashley Morris, Dave Bergmann, and Zane Golia.

In Prelude to a Bruise Jones explores how we reckon our past without being ravaged by it, and how we use people, and their bodies, to express ourselves.
