BK: Storytime + Letter Writing for DEAR DINOSAUR!

    09/10/2017 - 3:00pm

Have you ever had a question about dinosaurs? Well, who better to answer them than an actual T-Rex? As part of Barron's DEAR DINOSAUR letter-writing campaign, we're writing letters, just like Max, the main character in the book. You'll get a reply from T. Rex soon afterwards! Snacks to be provided.

    About DEAR DINOSAUR:

When Max visits a local museum, he wishes he could ask the dinosaurs a bunch of questions. Since the museum is about to close, the curator (Dinosaur Dora) says, "Why don't you write our T. Rex a letter? He might even write back."

Will the Mighty T. Rex Write Back?
Max isn't so sure that the T. Rex will respond to his letter, but he tries anyway. He mails it off and the days go by v-e-r-y slowly. Until . . . a letter arrives in his mailbox!

At first, T. Rex's letters make him seem like a big, toothy tough guy who's too busy to write friendly letters to tasty little humans. But once Max and T. Rex start trading letters, they share funny jokes, silly facts, a baby tooth, rubber duckies, and more.
